You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t been posting much lately. Well, I wanted to explain why…

I’ve spent the last six months doing lots of personal growth and soul searching, clarifying my values and goals, and working really hard to figure out what it is I want to do with my time and energy and what meaningful work and tangible impact look like for me.

Throughout this process of working with my therapist and a career coach I’ve come to realize that blogging and social media are no longer serving me and have decided that I won’t be continuing with Tending the Table.

I will be forever grateful for the connections I’ve made, for all we’ve shared, and for what I’ve learned, but it’s time for me to officially say goodbye. I don’t know exactly what I’ll be doing next but I’m exploring opportunities with non-profits working on food waste. I’ll keep the blog up for the time being so you can continue to use the recipes and posts.

In the meantime, I wanted to thank you. Thank you for giving my work meaning, and for your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. YOU have made the past four years possible! I hope my work has inspired you to eat more mindfully and that you’ll share that inspiration with others in your life.
