Dairy Free Chocolate Hazelnut Soft Serve
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
2 ripe bananas
3 tablespoons water
1/4 cup chocolate hazelnut butter
PROCEDURE
Peel the bananas and slice into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Spread on a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for several hours.
Transfer the frozen banana slices to a food processor and process until broken down. Scrape down the sides of the container and with the processor running, slowly add the water. When the mixture is almost completely smooth, add the chocolate hazelnut butter and continue processing until the soft serve is smooth and creamy. Serve immediately with toasted hazelnuts and chocolate shavings.
*I used this chocolate hazelnut butter because that’s what I had on hand, but any chocolate hazelnut butter will do. Feel free to add more for a richer flavor.
