This one’s a winner you guys! Cocoa, dates and tahini blended up with creamy coconut milk, vanilla and ice! What could be better? It’s my take on the typical peanut butter and chocolate combo. The tahini is really fun for a change but still provides that nutty, rich quality that is so satisfying. And it’s a perfect treat for those warm days that are right around the corner…fingers crossed.
I hope your week is going well. XO
Cocoa Tahini Shake
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup coconut milk
3 tablespoons tahini
3 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
3 pitted medjool dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup ice
PROCEDURE
Combine the coconut milk, tahini, cocoa powder, dates and vanilla in the jar of a high speed blender. Blend on high, pausing to scrape down the sides of the blender several times, until smooth. Add the ice and blend on high again until smooth. Serve with whipped coconut cream, cocoa nibs and sesame seeds to garnish.
This shake looks SO GOOD!…and topped with whipped coconut cream simply takes it to the next level. 🙂
The pictures are really beautiful.
