We’re heading out for a few days in the wilderness but I wanted to share this milkshake recipe with you before we go off the grid because it’s the best thing EVER! I know this is what I’ll be craving after a few days of trail mix, ramen and Annie’s mac and cheese. Well, this and a big salad. Enjoy!

TOASTED SESAME AND HONEY MILKSHAKE
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
1 pint vanilla coconut milk ice cream
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons tahini
6 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup coconut milk
PROCEDURE
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
*This recipe makes a thick milkshake, best eaten with a spoon. If you like your milkshakes thinner and more slurp-able add more milk or a little water.
This milkshake recipe is really amazing. I love this recipe. Thanks for sharing such a great post.
This looks so good but it’s around 1000 calories per serving. I’d love to know how to make it a little lighter. Maybe less tahini? Thoughts?
Hmmm. I don’t usually think about the calorie count. Maybe try less tahini and water instead of coconut milk…Let me know what you discover…
yum! love toasted sesame anything, so definitely going to get on it. thinking about folding some chopped up sesame candy/brittle through it.
Yes! That’s what I did and it was amazing!
Very nice recipe, Sasha. And it should be prepared, when you want to indulge yourself fully 🙂
Drop dead gorgeous and AMAZING! So making this. STAT. Adventure hugs to both of you!! Have THE best time!!
